Daniele was born and raised in Florence, the heart of Italian fashion, immersed from a young age in the creative and entrepreneurial energy of the fashion house founded by his father, Roberto Cavalli. Between 2005 and 2014, he served as creative director of the main menswear line, playing a key role in one of the brand's most intense and recognizable moments. It was there that he honed his vision: an aesthetic vision that blends creative excess with restraint, identity with imagination, and material with gesture.

In 2015, after completing her career within the family business, she began a new chapter that shifted the focus from fabric to experience. Together with artist Edoardo Dionea Cicconi, he founded Duskmann, an artistic collective dedicated to experimentation and the staging of contemporary imagery. This marked her first step beyond the confines of fashion, toward a broader, more open, and multidisciplinary language.

In 2018, with chef Gianluca Camillotto, he opened Atelier de’ Nerli, a restaurant that is first and foremost a work of art: a space where cuisine meets Florentine craftsmanship, design meets light, and time slows down to embrace a new concept of sensorial hospitality.

In 2020, with music producer Francesco Frilli, he founded Heavy Soul Studios, a music production and sound research studio where sound becomes living matter, vibration, and contemporary ritual. A project that reflects his original passion for music and the invisible energy of frequencies.

In 2024, in collaboration with master perfumer Sileno Cheloni, he launched Profumoir: an Olfactory Library, a Personalization Laboratory, an Aromatic Garden, and an Experiential Home in the heart of Florence. Profumoir is where perfumery tradition meets sensorial innovation, restoring a central role for humanity in a perceptive journey that unites nature, memory, and alchemical vision. It is perhaps the project that best represents him, because it encompasses all his deepest passions—the love of beauty, the dedication to experience, and the search for the invisible.

All his projects stem from a shared vision: that life, to be truly lived, must be composed like a work of art. And that only by uniting spirit, space, and matter can we truly inhabit the present with authenticity, awareness and grace.
