Homage to Boetti,
Order and Disorder
Luigi Ferrando
Marble panel inlaid with polychrome scagliola, 120 x 75 cm
In this work of contamination and disruption, unexpected figures of tools, animals, musical instruments, knives, and clocks from three different Boetti works interact, arranged chaotically, creating an apparent cacophony of shapes and colors that find their order in a "Whole." This interpretation, created using the scagliola technique, honors the principle of order and disorder, which has always been central to Alighiero Boetti's poetics.
