Yuval Avital
Scagliola cm 79 x 38 series of three
All three masks were created in their structure using the marbled scagliola technique, a set of colored parts "mixed", cut and positioned following the decorative motif.
The decorations and the subsequently inlaid details are executed with different uses of the material as already in use in past centuries, the black and white graffito technique, the sanguine engraving technique and the blue cast decorative technique with gold leaf insertions.
Exhibited at the Marino Marini Museum in Florence in 2019
