Visits to the Laboratory and Collection

Wakabayashi Butsugu Seisakusho, a company with a long tradition dating back to 1830 in Kyoto, led by president Tomoyuki Wakabayashi and accompanied by Naoyoshi Itani, visited the workshop with master Takashi Sudo, a skilled sculptor of Buddhist statues residing in Kyoto.

The visit includes a demonstration of the production phases and a description of our history and the origins of the ancient scagliola technique, starting with the ancient artefacts (dating from the 17th to the 19th century) in our collection.
Number of participants: from a minimum of 10 to a maximum of 20 people
Duration: approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes
Suitable for all ages.
Cost: information on request.
The cost of the visit can be refunded in case of cancellation within 10 days before the appointment.
The cost may increase in the case of non-working days (Monday to Friday are considered working days)
